The Thadoona Project represents WAGR’s bold step into the copper-gold space, capitalizing on a high-potential asset in a historically significant mineral belt. Located on a parallel greenstone belt north of the Plutonic Gold Mine, Thadoona’s leases sit near AIC Copper Mines Ltd.’s active exploration sites, where strong magnetic surveys reveal a Banded Iron Formation rich with promise. Initial soil sampling has uncovered copper mineralization up to an impressive 17.6% Cu—an early indicator of a substantial deposit in an area with limited prior work. Strategically positioned within trucking distance of both Plutonic Gold and DeGrussa Copper Mines, Thadoona combines a proven district pedigree with untapped upside, making it a vital part of WAGR’s diversified portfolio.
